As I was leaving the school behind,
I noticed a child looking at me from a distance.
Perhaps I was unusual, embarrassing, or frightening to them?
I waved my hand and pointed over to them, but they just kept staring.
( I think this might be a common occurrence with
small children no matter where you are. )
Wanting to be more friendly, I tried to close the distance between us,
but . . . ,
They simply took off running. Well, back to the capital.
